Optico Fiber Lifeline Program*
The Lifeline Program is a federal initiative in the United States aimed at making communication services affordable for low-income households. It provides a monthly discount on phone or internet services to ensure that all participants have access to essential communication, thus helping people to stay connected with their jobs, families and emergency services. Eligible households can recieve a discount of up to $9.75 per month on their phone or internet service bill.

- The contract term is for 12 months. If you cancel within the first 12 months, there will be a penalty fee of $69. You have the option of choosing without a contract, which has a fee of $60.

YOU MAY QUALIFY, IF YOU RECIEVE ASSISTANCE FROM ANY OF THESE PROGRAMS:
- Supplemental Nutrition Assitance Programs (SNAP/PAN)
- Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)/Section 8
- Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit Program
- Medicaid
- Family income is or is below what is established by de Federal Poverty Index Guidelines
*(NOTE: Supplemental Security Income (SSI)is not available for residents of Puerto Rico)
This discount is available in all areas with Optico Fiber infrastructure through a 100% fiber optic connection.

- Recent bill for Water, Electricity or Cable TV service in your name.
- Government benefit letter and / or updated evidence.
